Bela Pana is a drink made from bael fruit pulp & is available during the entire summer. It is a traditional drink of Odisha. It is prepared from milk, black pepper, cheese, banana, Jaggery, curd, cardamom, cashew nuts, grated coconut made into pieces. This drink is very popular in all parts of Odisha & mostly prepared in Pana Sankranti or Odia New year. Odia lassi is very different from the one served in Northern & other parts of India. During the Summer season, you can see most of the small lassi stalls across Odisha. Most popular lassi stall are Lingaraj Lassi in Bhubaneswar , Rayal Lassi in Talcher. Odisha lassi is prepared from ghola dahi, added with sugar, grinded coconut, elaichi, cherry, cashew nut, cheese & malai.
