While each movement of the baby in the womb brings a smile to the to be mom’s face, each time they look into the mirror and see the dark patches on the face, the smile fades for a minute.Yes, nearly 50-70% of women do develop these dark patches on the nose, cheek, upper-lips and sometimes on foreheads. They are not associated with itching, redness or pain.These patches are called Melasma or mask of pregnancy.
